Why We Use Original Artwork

Many people have asked why Soul Honor Sanctuary uses original watercolor artwork rather than photographs of my own home.

My home is my personal sanctuary.

It is where I rest, reflect, grieve, celebrate, and simply live.

While I occasionally share small glimpses of that life, I have chosen to protect its quietness.

The artwork creates something different.

It invites each visitor to imagine their own sanctuary rather than stepping into mine.

The watercolor imagery leaves room for everyone to see themselves along the path.

The sanctuary belongs to all who arrive, not only to the person who created it.
