Symbolism of the Founder’s Seal

Sunflower

The sunflower represents growth, resilience, and the natural turning toward light.

Just as the sunflower follows the sun, members of the sanctuary are encouraged to orient themselves toward compassion, awareness, and truth.

Shield

The shield symbolizes protection and stewardship.

It reflects the responsibility held by the founder, facilitators, and practitioners to safeguard the integrity of the teachings and ensure that those who enter the sanctuary are held in safe and respectful spaces.

Light

The light at the center of the seal represents the lantern of awareness that guides the sanctuary’s path.

This light is not owned by any one person—it is carried forward through shared learning, compassionate presence, and ethical stewardship.
